I’ve been chasing the light with my camera for as long as I can remember. I bought my first camera in high school, following a chance encounter with a dark room and a roll of film. I’ll admit – the first photos I ever took were horrible. Okay, absolute rubbish. But I was completely captivated!
My camera and I have been on some incredible adventures – it has fed my enthusiasm for travel and exploration, and has taken me to places both near and far. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized that the most important things in my life have always been people. And this realization has given me a great perspective towards my photography – it’s the people and the moments you share with them that truly matter in your life.

I am in the business of happy. I’m drawn to all the beautiful things that we often take for granted in life. I’m always on the lookout for genuine reactions — smiles, laughter, tears. And I have a soft spot for quirky images.
I love people with a twinkle in their eyes. I love people who smile effortlessly. I love people who embrace each other, as if no one else were in the room. I love the feeling you get when you really connect with someone. It makes my heart happy when I see old married couples holding hands. And it’s these moments that truly inspire me.
I’ll consider myself successful if you look at your wedding images on your 60th anniversary and still feel the goosebumps you felt on the day you were married. That could take a while, but it’s okay – it’ll be worth the wait.
But what really makes me proud is witnessing the joy and elation I see from my brides and grooms when I show them their wedding images for the very first time.
It truly is an honour to be trusted with capturing one of your life’s most treasured moments – being invited to experience the day as it unfolds with you and then given the opportunity to relive the experience once again with you through the unveiling of the images…this never grows old for me.
